Dear Team LSU:
The latest storm tracker indicates Carson will be impacted starting Sunday morning through Monday morning. The maintenance staff has cleared off roofs and drains around the building. Building Managers and Custodial have been instructed to close all umbrellas, terrace top shades, secure furniture and put out rain mats and signage for Monday, August 21, 2023.
As mentioned, please have staff who can telework on Monday, August 21, 2023, telework to minimize them having to come to the building. You will receive instructions from your supervisor by tomorrow, Sunday, August 20, 2023, for teleworking or reporting to work. We want non-essential staff to work from home.
The operation’s team will be in on Monday to attend to any issues with the building.
If you have any questions, contact me [email protected] or call me at 949-933-4272
Thank you,
John
Hello Loker Leaders,
Best,
Alejandro
Dear Team LSU:
In January, LSU received notice from the campus of a delay in spring semester on-campus classes. The delay was intended to support the wellbeing of the university community, especially students. LSU followed suit by asking part of our workforce to work from home (WFH) from January 12th through today, February 13th. I thank everyone for your support and collaboration as we continue to navigate the emergency pandemic.
Effective Monday, February 14, 2022, all employees who were assigned to WFH are being recalled to the Loker Student Union building on campus.
Work From Home (WFH) Assignments Termination – Recall to Office
Opening
As of February 14th, LSU will resume all programs and services. Prepare to open service of the delayed services:
Organizational Meetings
Please continue social distancing. Management continues to request that employees utilize Zoom to hold meetings instead of congregating in offices or meeting rooms, whenever possible.
Facility Hygiene
LSU maintains best practices recommended by the CDC and Cal OSHA. The building continues to be cleaned and disinfected throughout each business day with deep cleaning taking place nightly. The building filtration system utilizes hospital grade HEPA filters. Foggers which spray Citra-Cide (a disinfectant, virucide, fungicide, mildewstat and cleaner) are used nightly and reach all surfaces, not just touch points.
Feeling Under the Weather?
Please be reminded that the LSU provides sick leave to all employees so that you may stay home when you are ill, to avoid spreading illness in the workplace. If you are exhibiting symptoms of illness or become ill, you are encouraged to visit your medical provider to get proper care and to stay home until you are no longer contagious.
